What type of cakes do you make?
We manufacture fully finished, decorated, dessert and base-iced cakes to ship frozen for the food service, in-store bakery and retail bakery trade.
How often do you add NEW items?
Our R & D Department, working in conjunction with Sales & Marketing are constantly working on new and innovatove ideas. Some of the best ideas have come from our close relations with Creative Occasions customers and their input towards customer needs. In 2009, we added 24 new SKU’s.
What is the shelf life of your cakes?
Shelf life varies by cake, but generally:
180 days frozen in the shipping carton, 30 days frozen on display at retail, 5-7 days refridgerated on display at retail.
Is Creative Occasions Kosher certified?
Yes, we are audited regularly for Kosher Circle “K”.
Is Creative Occasions third-party audited?
Yes, annually by Siliker Labs with an Excellent Rating.
Does Creative Occasions manufacture Trans Fat Free cakes?
Yes, we offer an extensive line of Zero Trans Fat (ZTF) cakes, in all shapes and sizes.
How many employees do you have?
We employ approximately 125 associates and up to 150 during seasonal peaks.
Do you sell cakes at the plant?
Currently we do not, however there are plans to have a small retail shop at the plant in the near future.

Do you make individual Birthday Cakes?
We make all kinds of birthday cakes for wholesale purchase; however we do not make special order individual cakes for one event or person.
Will you ship one cake via UPS?
No, we ship only by truck with minimum quantities of at least 300 cases.
Do I need to keep the cake refrigerated?
Yes, however it is perfectly acceptable to let the cake sit ambient for 2-3 hours before serving and enjoying.
Always return to refrigeration when finished.
Do you make wedding cakes?
No.
Do you sell to the public?
No, we are a wholesale manufacturer.
Will Creative Occasions design a particular kind of cake especially for my company?
Yes, the majority of Creative Occasions business involves custom made cakes.
We can develop a specific type of cake to meet your needs and to meet specific retail price point targets.
Of course, a custom made line will require that a certain minimum order quantity is met.
Typically this will require combined truckload quantities.
Will Creative Occasions provide private label cakes?
Yes, Creative Occasions sells both Creative Occasions branded products as well as private label brands under a wide assortment of labels.
